It's simple when it comes to describing Rob Diddy. His hard and cocky lyrics are solely based on the real deal. Rob Diddy comes from a talented background among both sides of his family tree, carries a great fashion sense and a good business sense. He is the third member of the Majin Sqwawd Production team with Strugz and his cousin, Supa. On top of that, he is the most rebellious member of the Team Wreck crew. He is also a 2004 graduate from the High School for Creative And Performing Arts (CAPA), which he attended with labelmate Marvelous Kid Wonder.
He is featured like crazy on TW's first public project, the "Team Wreckless Mixtape: Volume 1," which is hosted by Philly's Own DJ Wreckless. It was released in September 2005 during Philadelphia's Puerto Rican Day Parade Weekend.
Recently, besides representing TW and Majin Sqwawd, he's an official member of Hood Real, which contains a seasoned MC in Krevdon along with Eddie Blonko, Asume and many other young artists. Diddy is featured on "Hood Real Mixtape Volume 2: Da Real Remainz," on the track titled, "Lifetime," which features Krev & Blonk and is produced by Justin Kase. With Hood Real, Rob Diddy was dubbed with his new alias of "Competition" by MasterMind, a North Philly producer exclusive to the group. TW and Hood Real have collaborations lined up in the "TW Mixtape: Volume TWO: Already Back!" and the DJ Wreckless Mixtape Compilation, that showcases a spectacle of North Philly artists including TW, Joey Caraz, Mz. In the summer of 2006, Rob finally laced out the long- awaited "COMPETITION MIXTAPE". It features 14 songs that show both of his rough and calm sides, including the North Philly Krunk track, "It's Diddy Bop, Bitches!"; the hood anthem, "The P.H.I."; and very opening version of "Who Am I?". It's hosted by TW team-mate Strugz and includes appearances from Team Wreckless (Marvelous, Supa & Strugz), Hood Real (Krevdon & Asume) and The Nasty Boyz (Phire & Sirayne) of Time Now Entertainment. Besides the guest appearances and the release of his solo project, Rob Diddy has performed in several spots with Team Wreckless, including the Sneaker Villa Audition Concert Tour, which has made stops at the stores on Broad & Olney, Broad & Thompson and Kensington & Clearfield Streets. Additionally, he has hit up the stage at Club Diesel on 2nd & Erie and took the spotlight with TW at the M&S Banquet Hall on 5th & Courtland Streets.
Rob Diddy's next set of plans include "COMPETITION MIXTAPE: Vol. 2" and more guest appearances for Hood Real's next volume to their mixtape series and appearances for the untitled project from Supa & Strugz.
