About Me

My name is Joe. I am a 100% Italian, 21 year old guy from the North Shore of Massachusetts.
I am a full time student at Boston University's CDIA where I will become a professional computer animator... oh yeah be jealous!
I work part time with L.L. Bean in customer service and on the side freelancing as a digital effects artist. Some of my work is in my pictures section.
For fun I can usually be found drawing, mountain biking or fighting. I have been studying Okinawan Karate for about 5 years and I fight to let out my frustrations. Though more recently 2 herniated disks in my back have been holding me back.
I was never one of the "popular" kids in high school but my friends are the best anyone could hope for.
I am often up at UMass Lowell hanging with my brothers in my Fraternity, Delta Kappa Phi (aka DK to most students). I DO NOT do drugs of any kind and the most you'll see my drink is the one beer in my hand. Yet I don't judge people who do and I am always the life of the party.
I am currently single but being very selective about who I date. There are a lot of fakers and heart breakers out there, and I don't have a lot of free time to waste on the immature. In the mean time, I am trying to enjoy life and take life one day at a time.
Heres what the critics are saying:
"A fantastic guy with a heart of gold, Two thumbs up!"
-Ebert and Roper
"Hes a good boy, I raised him right!"
-His Mom
"Joe kicks ass! My best human yet!"
-God
There you have it...

My Interests

martial arts, fast cars, mountain biking, drawing, photo manipulation, computers, music, fighting, video games, Buddhism, guitar, piano, Asian culture

I'd like to meet:

I'm definitely a loner by nature but I like meeting people. I wish I could meet anyone and everyone especially Ghandi, Siddhartha "Buddha" Gautama, George Lucas, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Hillary Clinton (she's brilliant), Steven Spielberg, Adolph Hitler (so that I may Kick him in the balls), God, but not too soon...

On the personal level I'd like to meet someone who doesn't lie, cheat, or play head games. I'm a sucker for nice smiles and bright eyes. I have nothing against the chemically imbalanced (I mean who isn't these days), but it would help if you are on less then three different anti-psychotic medications. If I look like someone you would be interested in then drop me a line. I'm a busy guy, so I may take a little while to respond. But if you never send a message we can never meet, so get to it!

Music:

Holy shit computer animation is invading our beer!!!
Anything from rock to techno to classical: Chili Peppers, Sublime, Linkin Park, Jack Johnson, Radio Head, Dredg, The Killers, Audio Slave, Fox Run Road, Lunatic Pandora, Rage Against the Machine, Maroon 5, Massive Attack, Gorrilaz, Death Cab for Cutie, AFI, Tim Janis, John Williams, Aphex Twin, NiN...

Movies:

Forrest Gump, Armageddon, Super Troopers, any Mel Brooks movie, Team America World Police, The Star Wars movies, Jurassic Park, E.T, Reign of the Fallen, The Last Samurai, The Fast and the Furious, A Christmas Story, This is Spinal Tap. Overall there are wayyy to many to list...

Television:

Not big into TV, but the rare times you see a remote in my hand I'm watching cartoons like: Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy, Frisky Dingo and Harvey Birdman. I'm not really into anime but I think Samurai Champloo is done really well and I've caught a couple episodes on the web.

Books:

Currently reading "I am America, and so can you!" by Stephen Colbert. Any good reference material for any good subject. I always wanna know how stuff works so technical manuals for everything from cars to sky-scrapers are all over my room. I have a "how to draw" book on more or less every subject known to mankind.

Heroes:

My parents, grandparents, fire fighters, local and state police, anyone who has the courage to stay straight-edge if they want to be. God knows we live in a world of peer pressure and guilt.
