Began back in the days of the Orange Plaza and the movie theater by Caldors... Or on the streets of scotchtown, Goshen, Florida, and so on.... Wearing Skidz, Z. Cavarrici's, Purple Reeboks, and doing the infamous "pant fold". Blasting in the background was the likes of Vanilla Ice and then a few years later Nirvana... (or whatever) It was all about skateboarders and skipping school, the arcade or playing manhunt. ACid was the drug of choice and if you werent tripping in high school, you discovered it in college. The true "OC" people survived all of this and only gravitate back to spend the night before Thanksgiving and Christmas weekend at The Old Erie, (for the older folks it used to be the Downtown), the Orange Inn, The Florida Bar and Grille, The Captains Table, the Cage or any bar where you can take a shot with your old teachers, see your 3rd grade boyfriend, or puke with someone you havent seen in 5 years.These days, we are more about reminiscing about "OC" than making memories there.... but definately carry a little piece of 211 and 17 with us.
