Film (of course), writing (for fun and profit), reading (offbeat and eclectic books), sports (both real and virtual) and many more.
Fellow cineastes and literate arts-and-culture junkies.
Until further notice, I am officially obsessed with Sloan's "Never Hear the End of It." 30 (!) sublime gems from Canada's pop masters. Props to my younger bro for the recommendation. This is the Great White North's "White Album"...
Way too many to list, so I'll stick to directors, in alphabetical order so as not to offend the Cinema Gods: Antonioni, Bergman, Buñuel, Coppola, Cronenberg, Fassbinder, Fellini, Hitchcock, Kubrick, Lynch, Melville, Miike, Polanski, Scorsese, Spielberg, Welles.
There are only a few I go out of my way to watch: Rome, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage (see if you can spot my brief, Waldo-like cameo in the Sundance episode), Family Guy, Futurama, Nip/Tuck, Sopranos, South Park.
Black Dahlia Avenger (even though the book's main premise is probably false), Catch-22, Class (by Paul Fussell), Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, In Cold Blood, No Exit, Notes From Underground and lots of others. Currently catching up with "All the King's Men," which really takes the piss out of politics.
