My Greatest Accomplishment

About Me

My greatest accomplishment in life is/was becoming a Mother (to a beautiful baby girl) for the first time. Seeing this little person that my husband and I made is the greatest gift in and of my life (that was granted from above). Also knowing that some day my child will be a mother and a parent is an awesome feeling!

My Interests

The things that I am interested the most in are: music (any and all types), meeting and making new friends and dancing. Granted I can't go out and go dancing anymore but dancing in the kitchen with my daughter is just as good.

I'd like to meet:

The person in life that I would like to meet the most I have already meet. This person is my daughter. After caring her for 9 months it was nice to finally get to meet her. Another individual who I would have liked to have the honor of meeting was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., he was such an inspiration to so many people. In this day and age it would be nice the have some one with such a powerful message that can and was sent through non-violent means.

Music:

I like any and all types. I am not a really big fan of country western music but I do have the occasional desire to listen to it.

Movies:

I prefer the more action packed movies. I do not like movies that glamorize cheating on ones spouse.

Television:

Don't have much time for it, so I guess that is a nice way of saying I just don't watch TV.

Books:

I have read SO MANY books that I am not sure I can limit myself to a few favorites but I can try. I would have to say the book that I have enjoyed the most and have had the strongest reactions to was "Density of Souls" by Christopher Rice I would recommed this book to anyone. As a side note it does have a strong text in reference to the gay community so for anyone who is not okay with that topic this would not be the book for them.

Heroes:

My heroes include: Martin Luther King Jr. for obvious reasons. My Mother what one woman in anyones life can handle so much and still love a person as their mother? (Granted that doesn't apply to all people) And last but not least my husband, he has put up with more than I care to mention and is still a huge part of my life!
