Drawn together by one, Half Past June is a band struggling and fighting for a name in this world.We came together in the year of 2005 as young musicians playing out of tune cover songs by well known artist. Being in a somewhat small town, The name Half Past June was caught on by others and most of the town.Members came and members left as the band started to form not only a spot in the local music scene but a name. We knew we had to get out of the small town of Dalton, Georgia so we played around in other cities.Our name grew more popular by the day. In late 2007, we were contacted by the guys at Jackhammer Records and it turned out they loved our music and wanted us to sign.Making this decision affected the band in a big but good way. Our former Singer Austin Thompson and Lead Guitarist Tyler Voyles decided that being in a signed band wasn't for them. They moved off to smaller bands for fun. We replaced them shortly after which brings us today.We recently Recorded our EP, "Whispered in a Kiss" and will be heading to the studio to record our Full length Album in February of 2008.
