Personally introducing as many Hajis to Allah via a 500 pound warhead since 2003!

About Me

So here I am. I've just recently separated from the Army after eight years of honorable service. During that time, I served in several combat tours at various locations throughout the world. I have seen much of the world, and it is indeed cold, dark, and cruel. In my experiences I have learned that there is much that goes on in the world we back here in the US will never know. Before the Army I wasted one year of my life at the University of Arizona. Anyways these days I have settled down considerably. My wife and I just recently bought our first home together and my new job working for the Federal Government is proving to be very interesting and I do truly enjoy my job. Although there’s a lot to be said for the adrenaline rush associated with combat or firing off 500 rounds of ammunition on full auto and kicking in a door. But I also find that the older I get the more I want from life and the military can only offer so much. Layout Provided By FreeCodeSource.com - Myspace Layouts

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Good friends lost to the war...if only to say goodbye. It's not ideologies, politics, or purpose that matter to a grunt. All that does matter to him is his brother to his left and right; and ensuring that he does his best to get them all home alive.

Television:

About anything on the Military Channel

Books:

David Eddings series...highly recommended

Heroes:

The true definition of a hero is not one who lays down their life to save another; but one who lays down their life knowing that those they save, will never know.My heroes are those in uniform who dedicate their lives, be it a few years or their entire life, to an ideal greater than themselves. Defending our country, freedoms, and each other...becasue in the end it's all we have.Paul R. Smith, SFC. Ft. Stewart, GA 317th ENG BN, 3ID. Killed while engaging the enemy 13 April 2003.Gregory V. Pennington, SSG. Ft. Hood, TX 2/7 CAV, 1CD. Killed in mortar attack 22 June 2004.Rest in peace boys...god knows you've earned it.
