My Interests

Real Estate (attending all the functions w/ my colleague and fellow RE Broker buddy, us both having met 8 years ago while attending real estate school, open houses, licensing and professional seminars together, business and through highs and lows in life- Ms. Taylormade (shouts out Ms. TAMMI!) International Foods, Distant Lands, & Foreign Languages~ Spanish is already many years in progress, since high school. I need to practice it more, though. Would love to take on additional ones like German, Italian, and at least one that's not so everyday.Musical Instruments: Getting reacquainted with my clarinet, played in my high school in Memphis, TN (shouts out Memphis!!) Was first chair with my Memphis City Schools, high school best bud, Shontia! What's up, Shontia?!! (sounds like Shontae). Still on intruments, played some keyboard, thanks to dear ol' dad who is also responsible for my love of philology. Word! LOL!! But back to musical instruments- I'd say I'd love to be a real keyboard player, gotta love those woodwinds! And perhaps, I may be bold enough to take on the sax.

I'd like to meet:

I MEET ALL KINDS! Like Prince sings "Ain't no particular kind I'm compatible with." So that would be me, but I am into unique, not what I would call 's~t~r~a~n~g~e' but unique.On Being Yourself~ What I think about it???? To each his own. What you do, let it only affect just *you*, (especially if its negative)and that makes for us to be all good!Just to name a few: MAYA ANGELOU, Cathy Hughes, Oprah Winfrey, Bill Clinton, Barbara Corcoran, Carly Fiorina, and Barak Obama. And some I have YET to meet, yet to think on how they are, and who they may be, so of course, I can't name 'em, now.

Movies:

Favorite: "The Color Purple." Next favorite is HEAT: I love that movie....not to mention DeNiro- gotta love those Italian men, in movies!

Television:

I don't spend a lot of time watching tv. I have started collecting dvd sets of my favorite childhood tv series- just to name a few; "What's Happening" and "Welcome Back Kotter".

Books:

Currently~ "The Art of Courtly Love"...it is a written word of precedents on love, in short- 31 rules! I think it's quite interesting. My favorite book is "The Color Purple" because I LOVE the beginning words "Dear GOD....". Lastly, I love reading- of course, some topics more than others, but I have begun building a nice in home library. Next to my kids, I would do my best to save it first among intangibles, just in case of a fire.

Heroes:

First, I wanna start off with "ME." Just keeping it real, but let me recognize and put it bluntly- "I can do ALL things, through CHRIST who strengthens me!"
