Seattle native, Greg Goad (pronounced like road) currently lives in Winthrop, WA where he operates Letter B Studios. One lonely March night, he set up two mics and played through his songs one after the other. The raw live takes from the March 29 session came together to make the backbone of his debut solo release, ‘Saturday’.
In addition to his diverse and seasoned instrumental musicianship, Greg works compelling narratives into his songwriting that attempt to depict the adventure, glory, terror and agony that he has experienced living, climbing and exploring the outdoors in the northwest and beyond. Greg penned many of the songs on ‘Saturday’ as he was hiking on the 2700-mile Pacific Crest Trail through the summer of 2008.does anybody have a used trout stream for sale?
If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stomping on a human face -- forever. -- George Orwell
Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. -- John Muir
The poems to come are for you and for me and are not for mostpeople-it's no use trying to pretend that mostpeople and ourselves are alike. Mostpeople have less in common with ourselves than the squarerootof-minusone. You and I are human beings;mostpeople are snobs.ee cummings
