I'm Secwepemc. If you don't know where we're from look on a map there's a place called turtle island, and it's in the upper portion of turtle island above the 49th parrllel and almost on the west coast near the Pacific.I'm currently studying physics and math at Thompson Rivers University. It's a good school small classes and I learn a lot. I chose this field of study because I can do some meaningful work to help my people and not have to sell my soul to some big corporation.I've always found the deceptivly simple rules of mathematics fascinating. Simples rules like addition, multicplication and exponention and equality can produce a formula such as: e^(i*pi) - 1 = 0. That's Euler's formula with a substituion of 'theta' equal to pi.Pretty neat huh? No?!?!? That's ok I'm not all about that anyways. A big interest is in social issues, expanding the influence of aborignal ideas, thoughts, and language.
