About Me


Flashlight Down is a project presented by N3RO of Army of Three. With a style that ranges from political to party to menacing street sounds, N3RO is not limited in any creative fashion. Established in 2005, this project has a fine-tuned style that incorporates heavy content mixed with catchy hooks leading to appreciation from both mainstream and underground fans alike.
N3RO, one of the most versatile artists in Hip Hop today shows form, skill, art, and dedication with every word he rhymes. Hardcore at first listen, this 24-year-old longhaired Caucasian underlines tones and messages beneath the surface treating both the casual and avid fans to different interpretations.
N3RO doesnt just come from a broken home and poverty; he also doesnt have the typical image of what a Hip Hop artist is known to look or sound like, giving him the freedom to fit into any category or sound in Hip Hop music. Flashlight Down is what Hip Hop will evolve into in the coming years: a blend of lyricism, content, and communication skills that can balance any subject matter or subtext.

A statement of hopes and despair intertwined. A light at the end of the tunnel that isn't visible. Without guidance, rebellious tactics ensue, and the rules and formats of known society dissolve. Chaos and morality battle. Acnom and N3RO act as witnesses, breaking away from the set path to deliver detailed commentary of their journeys. Through poverty, passion, and Hip Hop N3RO and Acnom shine bright without light leading the way.
