I add people mostly from ages 16-28 (all adds are for friends and networking, so don't think you are something special).
I do not add people over 30 with the exceptions of band members, models, magazines, design sites, jewelry, clothing, promoters, record companies, photographers, makeup artists, artists, and pretty cool people (which are far and few).

Ok big note... if I don't talk to you, then it is probably because your message didn't peak my interest or you didn't. I have tons of friends and exceed my message quota a lot, so I choose who I talk to. I try my hardest to talk to everyone, but if I don't talk to you it is either
A)You sent a what is up message/comment.
B)You sent a want to get to know you better message/comment.
C)You sent a comment my band page. I do listen to the music, but I don't have time to comment everyone.
D)You asked w4w, and I just didn't feel like. Although, if you automatically whore me and send proof, I will whore back out of courtesy.
E)You commented my pic with something nasty rather than something nice. I delete these comments. Send them in messages. I probably won't reply, but I don't want you perverted thoughts public. I do have people on my page in their young teens.
F)And finally, if you do not like me, think I am ugly, or for that matter flagrantly leaving me stupid messages (about hating me), I will not hesitate to just delete you and block you. I don't tolerate ignorance. If you don't like me, don't add me. That is very simple.
