My name is Miquela and I'm 19 years old (even though I tend to be mistaken for 15 or 16). I love music and children. And I love hanging out with my friends, going to dances and parties (of course). My church is very important to me. I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am very stubborn with my beliefs. If someone wants to know anything about my church then I'll tell them. I love telling people about the gospel but don't assume that I try and shove my beliefs down peoples' throats because I don't. I'm just very open with people about my beliefs. My friends are very important to me. I love them all so much! I'm the kind of person that hates to hate people, hates holding grudges and getting jealous so I just don't. It may be hard to believe but because I think that those things are stupid and pointless and gets you absolutely nowhere, I just don't. It's as simple as that. So needless to say, I'm a very forgiving person and can get over things quickly. I hate hurting people and I love making people happy. Giving to people is one of my favorite things to do, seriously. And I'm not being fake or anything; I really do like giving to people! Just ask my brothers. When we go on vacation, over half of the money I spend is on gifts for my friends back home and gifts for people we visit. I don't care about getting anything in return. I don't do it because I want something. The only thing I want is for everyone to be happy. If someone's upset or having a bad day, I do all I can to make them feel better. I absolutely love my jobs at the preschool and the KidKare. The kids are awesome and I love them all to death! I definitely want to be a mother one day and have around maybe 7 kids. I just love kids! It pains me to see a child upset. Even if it's some random child I see at the mall who's crying, I always have such the urge to go up to them and comfort them. The kids I watch at the KidKare always come to me for comfort when they're upset. Just about everyday I have a child who wants me to hold them because they're upset. I hate seeing people upset. It makes me sad. And I'm being serious. This is just the kind of person I am. So don't think that I'm being fake or anything. I hate it when people are fake. I don't hate people who are fake, I just hate it when they're fake. I'm a very friendly person. I can get along with anybody. If someone doesn't like me, for whatever reason, I always try to befriend them anyway and I never forget them. Just because someone doesn't like me doesn't mean that I don't care about them because I do. I love everyone. It doesn't matter to me what someone has done, if they've wronged me in any way, I'll forgive them and I'll still care about them. I may not trust them as much, but I'll still care about them and I won't try and turn around and go and do something mean to them. That would be a stupid and pointless action. I'll still think about them and never forget them as a person and as a child of God. Well, I've been singing since as long as I can remember and I took and am taking professional voice lessons. I also plan on trying out for American Idol next season if I get the chance to, but only to see how far I can get. I was in many choirs. My choir even sang at the White House two winters in a row (extremely cold!) I've also been playing the piano for 10 years. I wrote a poem two summers ago that was actually surprisingly very good. See, I'm not a poet. That was the only poem that was actually good. Of course, I did stay up all night writing it. It's too long to enter into any contests which totally sucks. Anyway, I like to draw and I love taking care of kids. At first I wanted to get two majors and one minor. I'd major in voice and piano (since I couldn't choose between the two) and minor in art. But now I realize that two majors are too much and that I really want to work with kids. So I've decided to major in early childhood developement and minor in voice. I was in public school from kindergarten to 8th going to Weems and Metz here in Manassas. And I started homeschooling right after I finished my 8th grade year. I also have a really weird memory. I can remember things that people normally wouldn't remember, but I sometimes can't remember the simplest word when I want to use it. Like I can remember everyone who was in my 6th grade class and their nicknames, but the worst words that I have actually forgotten were trampoline and milkshake. I also can get pretty hyper sometimes which tends to be pretty contagious, when I'm with the right people that is. And that's about it. Sorry it was so long.
