About the Artist and Chief Stewart
LOS, born Carlos T. Mitchell, is the visionary Chief Stewart and revolutionary artist assigned “Nebuchadnezzar”. Carlos T. Mitchell’s qualifications as Chief Stewart are demonstrated in his impressive educational background which includes an Associate Degree of Arts and Sciences from Mountain View College in Dallas Texas, a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies and Masters Degree in Business Administration from Lincoln University in Jefferson City Missouri. Chief Stewart Mitchell has served in leadership positions for such organizations as the Dallas County Tax Collector’s Office where his management responsibilities included coaching and developing a top performing team, also with the Army and Air force Exchange Services as a certified facilitator and instructor for its Corporate University. It is an equally affirming fact that the Chief Stewart served as interim leadership at Open Gate Full Gospel Church of Jefferson City Missouri where he was licensed and Ordained by Apostles Carl Hardin for his service to the community. LOSLIVE’s resume as an artist is equally as studded with accomplishments. As a child LOSLIVE established a propensity for music appearing on a televised talent competition hosted by legendary Golf Coast media personality Sue Strong. At about 11 years old his affinities for music lead him to perform at Madison Square Garden in of all things a Buddhist Marching Band with Herbie Hancock. Young LOSLIVE would later be featured on the New England public television show Connecticut Beat. LOSLIVE first attended college at Grambling State University on a music scholarship. He performed in the New Orleans Super Dome, as a member of the world famous GSU marching band, accompanying national recording artist BOYZ II MEN. More recently LOSLIVE’s music has been nominated for a Dallas Texas public television gospel music video award for “Lamb 2 The Slaughter”, was featured on K104’s Home Town Sow Down winning song “Take You There” by 3Fingaz, had his second win on K104’s Home Town Show Down with the underground anthem “Clean Hustle”, and performed at the 2007 Kwanzaa Fest in Dallas Texas. The Dallas Kwanzaa Fest hosted by Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price, Dallas Hip Hop radio stations k104 and KR&B is one of the biggest Kwanzaa celebrations in the United States. When you read the words, hear the music, and see the Dream it is little doubt LOSLIVE was born to bring us “Nebuchadnezzar”.
