SERC last race at Fontana Dam

I got fist and Liise got second. This was the last race of the SERC series. 6 mile hilly course. Lots of slippery rocky climbs. Everyone was off the bike and pushing on some hills.

I found this boat on craig'slist for $30. No sail. It was a mid 70's Sea Snark.
They were a cheap boat that you could purchase with cigarette coupons.
Most of them came with a flat plastic Kool cigare...

Raccoon State Park TN. On the top of Lookout Mt. Great trail. Fast, flowing. Some real technical rock gardens. Not enough climbing. No falls. Long drive.

6-22 Eatonton 1st for me Liise got 3rd
Not so hot. Early start.
Took Friday off. Pre road 10 mile of the course Saturday night. Brought own food.
Felt strong, cramped a little last 2 mile. Finished well.

Back from TN. First for me. Third for Liise.
Fun trip but a long drive. The race was held in the park that held the 96 Olympic kayaking competition.
The11mile course was almost all uphill for the first 5 miles then some nice rolling single trac...
