In a time where the tangible rules the meaningful and intangible, The Human Shield is not just a band, it is an attempt at helping people realize that there is more in a song than just notes and words scribbled on a peice of paper. To help people realize that family is not ganging up on someone at a show becuase you have eachothers backs, and to help people realize that music is always here no matter what you are going through in life.Formerly Countdown to Daytona 4 of the five members of the band remained after a disbandment and created a group that writes music they like, under the influence of great bands such as converge and phoenix bodies. The human shield strives on pure energy and will stop at nothing to provide you with a good release or an even better show. Lyrics striving from every day issues and the ignorance of the common persons thinking, the human shield brings music to the table that is true yet understandable by all people. THS is fueled by a variety of members all with a mix of experience and musical background. THS produces and records all of their music and creates all of the bands visual aspects on their own.
