Born in December of 1986 in Painesville, Ohio emerged a rugged young solider that would stop at nothing to make sure his name would one day shine at the top of the rap game..Xclu$ive.
Challenged from an early age Xclu$ive crossed town to the Burbs east of Cleveland (now living in Mayfield, OH), where life was no playground but more of a battlefield. Diagnosed with Asthma (a severe lung and respiratory disease) at two weeks old started the struggle soon after leaving him near death and in a coma for 4 days when he was only 5 years old. Growing up constant family related problems with the law had him duckin the cops, in his own house with all the lights off, hiding under window sills when they would come around. By the time Xclu$ive passed his 1st decade, around the age of 12 his mother or father weren't around much for various reasons. So from there on out he basically raised himself. He is not embarrassed or does not regret anything that has happened in his life because those obstacles made him the man he is today.
To escape from the madness of his turbulent life.. Xclu$ive started writing and reciting rhymes at the age of 14, and he never looked back. So young, yet an amazing talent which for sometime was hid away from the world. Years went by as he talked with different people and other rappers/labels trying to get himself into the rap scene. Like always.. most of these personalities, who claimed they were someone or going somewhere, were ALL TALK so everything fell through time and time again.
In the summer of 2005, Xclu$ive was in talks with Sony Music about getting a record deal. He wasn't comfortable with the people or the business they brought to the table leading to his denial of the contract and set him to continue to do the underground scene. In the fall of 2005, Xclu$ive was locked up and thereafter was sentenced to community service when he was released. There he met a fellow rapper who happened to be with a label owned by someone X had past connections with. Soon after X was brought into the label. Hearing and seeing how much talent this young and ambitious teen had been hiding, he was given the nickname "Da Best Kept Secret". Running with that, Xclu$ive titled his first track just that, "Best Kept Secret". The summer of 2006, and a tender age of 19.. X is droppin that fire heat flow. Reppin for the 216 he plans on taking the whole rap world by storm. The wait is over.. The Secret Is Out!!!
Now beginning the summer of 2007 Xclu$ive has long since dropped the "Best Kept Secret" gimmick and is now known as the self proclaimed O State Don. A little over a year since officially being introduced to the game, he severed all of his music and business ties to finally take on his career the right way. Creating songs for motorcycle stunt teams and appearing on DVDs, Xclu$ive is appealing to a much wider and diverse crowd. With should be street hits and mainstream capable singles like "No Ma" and "Money" X is coming back with a force. Mixing in the upbeat "Put That Cash In My Pocket" and the more mellow "Let's Ride Part 2" Da O State Don is bound to be heard. The upcoming sophomore release will show maturity in lyrics, a more developed flow, and the progression that proves he can ride with the best. Time to show that Cleveland is still here, and Xclu$ive hopes to take it to the top.
