Ghetto Flow

About Me

They are one of the most promising latin groups of the moment and are known for their fantastic live performances.
Three guys, one girl:
MB, J. Soprano, Conejo and La Baby comprise
the reggeaton ensemble known as

Ghetto Flow

Since coming on the scene with their own productions, to currently working with international artists on their latest album, their solid fan base only continues to expand in Europe, the U.S.A. and Latin-America. They are one of the most noteworthy reggaeton voices of the moment and their name is quickly spreading along with the increasing popularity of latin music.
MB, J.Soprano, Conejo, and La Baby grew up the Dominican Republic where they learned the value of a hard work ethic at an early age. When they were older they moved to Holland where they met eachother in 2001 and soon decided to start their own reggaeton group. The four working together set them on the path to creating their own style, one that mixes the rhythmic sounds of salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton, dancehall and hip-hop. They each have a unique voice, but the combination of these vocals creates a sound that sets them apart from other reggaeton artists.
Ghetto Flow arrived just as reggaeton was introduced throughout the urban centers of Europe. Their rapidly growing fan base helped increasing the momentum and popularity of the group and by 2006, they got a taste of greater success. Ghetto Flow soon started to perform at high profile festivals in Belgium, France, Germany and Luxembourg and opened for some of Latin's heavyweight, including Don Omar, Tego Calderon, Aventura, T.O.K., Victor Manuelle, Wisin y Yandel, Gilberto Santa Rosa and Marc Anthony on 19 June 2008. Ghetto Flow has been able to work its way up the ranks over the course of seven years and is now said to be one of the best reggaeton groups in Europe.
Ghetto Flow represents exactly what makes reggaeton so damn fresh!

The talented MB was born in 1983, in the Dominican Republic. Growing up he had a special interest in music and started to rap, compose and produce music at an early age. In 1997, MB moved to Curacao where he started the reggaeton group Los Terricolas. When the members of the group went their separate ways, MB moved to the Netherlands where he partnered with J. Soprano. The duo started producing songs and billed itself as the Light Clan.

..

The young gun and lyrical master, Conejo!

Quiet and laid back as he seems, Conejo knows how to entertain the audience like no other. Born in 1987, his early musical talent was nurtured by his family. Conejo started writing lyrics and composing songs in three different languages when he was only twelve years old. Later, he formed La Ciencia; a Latin group that helped planting the seeds for Conejo's music career. When he moved to the Netherlands he decided to join MB, J.Soprano and La Baby and made Ghetto Flow officially complete.

..

Armed with a lyrical flow uncommon to female MCs in the reggaeton genre, La Baby is truly one of a kind! She has been a reggaeton-lover her entire life and even performed for friends and teachers in school by singing songs of her idol Ivy Queen. At age 15, her mother decided to move to Europe with her two daughters, hoping this would give them a better chance for a good future. After meeting MB and J.Soprano they soon decided to start their own reggaeton group, Ghetto Flow.

..

J. Soprano's passion for music has served to create a rich fabric of the Ghetto Flow-sound. His colourful personality combined with a great passion for music make J. Soprano a great entertainer and he always wants to give the audience true for their money. During a game of pool in 2001, MB and J. Soprano met La Baby. It did not take long before the three found out they share the same passion for music and in particular reggaeton.
