"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. I did not wish to live what was not life, living is so dear; nor did I wish to practise resignation, unless it was quite necessary. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life"
—Henry David Thoreau
I try and live deliberately as possible. Ocassionally yes I will spend a few minutes at work staring at a map and slowly crossing yesterday off a calendar but it's all in the anticipation of adventure and life to come. In the day to day I like me some books, coffee, friends and an occasional drink.
I want to meet that special gentleman-friend who doubles as my best friend. Passport required and bonus points if he brings me coffee in bed.
I love music, but am completely convinced that it's a crime against humanity for me to sing or dance in public. I have eclectic tastes so I am happy listening to anything.
Give me something with substance and cultural significance, or a movie that makes an effort to have none.
I don't watch television at all and it baffles me that my parents ask me where the remote is when they loose it.
