"You can't stop this train!"

About Me

Frantic Romantic started as a very late 70s punk (think Clash and Stiff Little Fingers) influenced band in 2000 and in true crash and burn punk rock fashion died just as they were getting a handle on songwriting 101 and other various musical growing pains. In 2006, resurrected from the ashes they themselves torched they are back with a much more bare knuckle rock approach but with just enough seething angst and venom to dare someone to not call it punk. These sons of Petty and Costello as well as Strummer & Jones consist of current members of the following bands: the Turnbull ACs (guitarist Dan Mecher), Denial (bassist Tony Buschle), Kill City (vocalist Johnny Sick & guitarist Beale), and the Virgins (drummer Patrick Romantic). With great melodies, introspective lyrics, and an absolutely explosive live show Frantic Romantic are the missing link between old school punk, power-pop and dirty rock and roll and something new and fresh that you don't want to miss.
