--L.A.'s politically incorrect punk rock skate band "No Apparent Reason" is one of Independent music's greatest obscure punk rock bands of our time. Formed in Los Angeles after NOFX played in their parents studio garage back in 1984. Musically influenced by Discharge and Rudimentary Peni. Their classic provocative punk rock anthem the "Abortion Bunch" was inspired by NOFX, then banned and censored in the very studio where they tried to record in.
Told to "get out", at the Sound Vault recording studio in Sunland, California. That the "FBI and police" were being called in on the recording session by the owner of the Studio, with 15 minutes left of studio time. Apparently the owner had never heard punk rock music. The band had to record in a secret session at a private studio somewhere in the media district of Burbank, California. Funny how times have changed.
No Apparent Reason is a band that has been lurking in the shadows of American punk rocks' success for over 20 years, watching, listening, waiting, for the right time to unleash their elusive socio-political punk rock classics! If you want real punk rock by an original band, then you will love this group, their music, and everything they stand for. They are what punk rock is!
