When the true essence of Black and Latin Music are fused together, ITZIAR is the result.
Born on January 29th of 1983 in Alicante, a coastal city to the southeast of Spain, Itziar showed since always a great passion for Music and its different forms of expression. But is when she forms her first band at the age of 15 that music takes a starring role in her life, getting to perform in a local level and radio apariences. She focuses in her dream and begins to take lessons and to dance in a HipHop Dance Company with the goal to become a great performer. In 2002 differents projects make her move to Paris (France) and in 2005 Itziar concentrates her energy in her solo carieer, starting to produce the tracks that will help her to give form to her project.
The music is based in the blend of Latin music and R&B, sound also known as Latin R&B. When she mixes the two sounds together along with all of her other influences, the outcome is a rich contemporary style of music.
As soon as she started to work the propositions arrived, like the featuring with the very known french rap group La Brigade in the song Soledad, track included in their last album Un esprit libre ne meurt jamais and colaborations with differents artists of the national R&B scene as Neje or Willy Denzey. She's been requested to produce and perform one song in the upcoming album of the Dominican rap duet Solo Dos, distributed by Universal Records in Swiss and also to be part of the production team and the songwritter of Las Caprice's whole album, a new girls band based in Miami, Florida.
