About Me
My name is Andrew and I am a native of the Chicago land area and a musician/vocalist by trade. Since the late 80's my vocals have been heard around the globe singing television and radio commercials for McDonalds, Domino's Pizza, Sears, Dean Foods, Kraft, Burger King, Milk, Capt'n Crunch, Ameritech, Ford, Chevy, blah blah blah. In 2003 some of my original songs were released and sold in the United States as well as over seas and played on other formats, such as MTV's Punk’d and Making the Video.I have performed with such artists as; The Outfield (Lose Your Love-Josies on a Vacation Far Away), Santana, Greg Rollie (from Journey), Blue Oyster Cult, Foreigner, Gin Blossoms, WASP, Bret Micheals (from Poison), Firehouse (Love of a Lifetime, Don't Treat Me Bad), Warrant, Edwin McCain (I'll Be), Skid Row, Great White (Once Bitten, Twice Shy), Europe (Final Countdown, Carrie) The Fixx (One Thing Leads to Another), Tommy Tutone, and many other great acts.I am currently the singer for the World Famous Afrodisiacs and the Spazmatics. The Afros are a disco dance band, and the Spazmatics are a new wave 80's band. Both shows are managed out of California with talent and production resources positioned throughout the United States, allowing us to become the country's leader in music era tribute acts. In the last couple years I have flown all over the country performing these shows as well as at every major club and festival Chicago-land has to offer. For more info on those bands check out afrodisiacs.net or chicagospazmatics.com.I also have a rock band I do on the side when my schedule allows for shits and giggles called, "According to Andrew." We play around Illinois and Indiana. It allows me to bust out some original material again as well as classic radio hits from the last 30 years.I also created and manage a band called Pen Fifteen which is a female dance band that covers Janet Jackson, Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears and other current and classic pop and rock groups. For more on them check out Penfifteenband.comThe music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side. Still, with over 250 live shows per year I have made music my life and I love what I do. I love my family and close friends. I work hard and I play really hard. I like fast cars and loud guitars. I love good food with good company.
