METAL MELTDOWNMyspace LayoutsCollectively we are Maldicion. Individually we are Jose on bass, Juan on guitar, Vidal on guitar and vocals, , and the newly recruited Efren!!! delivering the battering assault. Basically we are a straight out fucking metal band free of poser ass bullshit. We combine black, death, and thrash metal to make the catchiest songs our young musical minds can come up with. If you like the music cool if not then fuck it, we honestly dont care because we like it and we have fun playing it and that is what its all about.Jose and Vidal came together in late 2000 and later joined drummer Andrew to form an early and eager Maldicion. During this time we came up with jams such as "Pinche Joto" and "Cristo Corrupto", still on the set list. Later on we recruited "Mr. Johnny Terrori", which was a perfect addition to the sonic assault we wanted create. Now with twin guitars the song writing developed and songs like "Descending Into Chaos" and "Marco el Narco" emerged. Unfortunately we laid dormant for quite some time as Andrew joined a side project and dedicated less time to the band. So we said, "Fuck it!" We joined up with our good friend Danny to play shows and record a demo. He was a central figure in helping us get to the groove that we wanted. Unfortunately, as we were becoming the well oiled machine we were, he had to leave to Arizona to go to school. Two months later we came in contact with Dragonis, who was actually the guitarist in Andrew's side project. This didn't work out. So now we recruited Jason Campos, also the drummer for Black Emperium. He pretty much knew the songs and we're back playing shows and working on new material.But We're stubborn! We just won't go away.Adding to the mix the new addition to maldicion is Efren on drums!!!! making the new line up... so we'll See you Malditios at the shows!
