Dice:A.k.a. First born Emcee/Producer/composer August 9, 1976 Dice is known for his quick wit and his explosive sense of humor, however when it comes to his music, Dice is dead serious with his craft. Like the proverbial lion that he is, Dice is extremely territorial when it comes to his music. He devoted over 10 year of himself to this life before his group Dice and K9 hit it big across the country. Dice Rosaroso along with his cousin Kris “Pain” Villiarino and Miguel “K9” Calina started as an underground Hip Hop group called Anthillmobb. This group had been the torch-bearer for the local Hip Hop scene in Cebu before Dice and K9. Dice had been instrumental in creating a budding underground Hip Hip music scene in Cebu city through his indie music label 6000 goonz, discovering new Hip Hop acts and producing for many local artists and groups in the city. K9:A.k.a. gr8mind Emcee/Producer/Composer December 18, 1981 For K9 it all started out with a childhood fascination with music. As a kid K9, along with his elder brother Francis “Ice Man” Calina, would toy with their home cassette player making beats from samples and recording their verses over them. Years later, his exposure and passion for music helped him land a job as a radio jock at 2 top FM radio stations in Cebu, before taking Manila by storm with the hit song Itsumo, which he created the beat of. His conversion from a music lover into a legitimate songwriter and composer came about by his meeting Dice Rosaroso, who was then producing for other Hip Hop acts. This meeting of minds lead to the birth of the music phenomenon Dice and K9. Hi-C:A.k.a. Sashi Yurichiro/rainboo bryte Vocalist/chorus girl October 26, 1979 Many times she has been mistaken for Japanese, thanks to the hysteria created by the hit song Itsumo, which she lent her sweet voice to. Yes she is the mysterious Sashi, a character the group came up with create to an authentic feel to the song—just for fun. “No Japanese blood in me at all” she quips, “just the real love of Japanese culture and fashion.” She’s no fake at all, in fact, she has invested years of her life to the group through her passion and to music through her voice. Her faith in the group has made it to flourish - she stood behind the dream through hard work and dedication - even in anonymity. But no one can stop a real star from shining, now her time has come. Hi-C is unmistakably charming, yet like the Scorpio lady that she is, she is not without her sting. The unnamed lady in Dice and K9 has now become their icon. Trapp:A.k.a. Dunjin child Emcee November 18, 1985 Some things don’t happen as planned, and for Ivan “Trapp” Maningo, his medical studies had become the casualty of a dream. “I would have wanted to become a doctor like my grandfather,” but as destiny would have its way, Trapp found himself in another world as a member of Hip Hop sensation Dice and K9, the country’s hottest Hip Hop group to date. Trapp discovered his gift of gab way back in high school while imitating his favorite rappers for the West Coast in the USA. His talent was not left unnoticed, as soon after Trapp found himself with Dogfellas, a rap group Dice put together and produced for back in Cebu. His talent got another boost when he was invited to join Dice and K9 as a full-fledged member. And now destiny continues to unravel his story.
