This angel is one to be reckoned with.
Growing up in a broken home and eventually spending some time at the pleasure of Her Majesty. Claire Angel literally sang her way to freedom.
After 9 months on remand the governor heard her sing and was so blown away, allowed her to serve her time in the community and work back with youth who had lost her way. That was way back in 2002 and like they say, 'what doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger'.
During those 9 months, she wrote over 22 songs and this talented singer/songwriter had devloped such a strong vocal ability. Every time she performed somebody was so touched they would cry. She decided to use her talent to help young people at risk og Gun crime in the inner city of Birmingham. Delivering melodies so sweet you would think you were listening to Alicia Keys or Eva Cassidy - that is how powerful her voice is.
Her talent has seen reach the finals of UK Unsigned 2005, on numerous BBC Radio Shows and television productions and has seen her perform alongside:
