In 2003, Ash Brookes, the 'Paul Stanley' in KISS tribute band DRESSED TO KILL- after having toyed with the idea of doing a Paul Stanley 'solo' tour from as early as 1996- finally decided He could do it justice - basing the 'show' on Paul's, AND performing songs taken from the massive back catalogue of Paul Stanley-sung/written and co-written KISS songs- most of which hardly ever attempted live by ANYONE, let alone by Paul, or KISS. And now that Paul has released and toured the US in support of a new solo album ('Live To Win', 2006), 'Being Paul Stanley' are here to make sure Paul Stanley fans in the UK get a taste of it!!.......................Shows so far include:
A 'debut' performance at The Hard Rock Cafe, Manchester's New Years eve party, (2003)........................A support to Glam/Trash/Sleaze band 'Pretty Boy Floyd' at Rock City, Nottingham, (2004)........................A 1 & 3/4hr performance at The Hard Rock Cafe Nottingham, (March 2004).a 40 min performance at 'Rock For Rainbows' charity event, Mansfield, Notts, on April 27th 2007........................And shows at Riffs bar in Swindon, Scruffy Murphys in Birmingham, and Rock Cafe 2000 in Stourbridge....
