Mr Jones

Mr Jones is an MC and poet from Nottingham. He works with local hip hop act Blumonkey and features on their forthcoming LP. Check Dealmaker Records for all thats good and green.
Mr Jones - History: Born sometime in the late 1970s Mr Jones spent his early years roaming the caves under Nottingham city. Surviving largely on carrion and careless tourists on tours he developed; starved of light and human contact. Years later he was discovered and put to work in local warehouses and breweries. Though the work suited his cravings for dark places, his lack of social skills proved problematic. Food, drink and temps kept disappearing; the blood stained trail inevitably led to Mr Jones and his unquenchable appetite. Exiled for his crimes to the city of Leeds he started a new life wrestling badger baiters at underground venues.
Records are scarce until the early 21st century when he reappeared in Nottingham. Since then he has begun to chronicle his extraordinary life and experiences in the form of words, often accompanied by music. Local researchers into human deprivation, Blumonkey and Dealmaker Records, discovered the impact of these words on the fragile human form. They have since attempted to integrate Mr Jones into their own displays of the macabre, and on occasion have managed to make audio recordings. In addition, attracted by the movement of Zephaniahs dreadlocks, Mr Jones has found himself in the company of Blackdrop. Here, as always, he left audiences permanently scarred by his appearance. He is currently based in Nottingham and can frequently be found stalking the innocent drinkers of the cities many pubs.a
