Ehlers/Thejsen

About Me

Jonas Thejsen And Morten Ehlers met in a rockband back in the late nineties, playing keyboard and bass. Sharing the same taste in music and the dream of creating something more intimate and personal, they started composing and playing as a duo, Jonas on vocal and Morten playing mainly Rhodes. The songs were faithful to sixties/seventies soul but lacked the original twist that would make them really important. Things got deep when Morten changed to acoustic guitar and the folkish singer/songwriter style started evolving, mixing with the soul, until finally becoming the base on which the songs are crafted. After trying out different band constellations Ehlers/Thejsen emerged in 2005 with this beautiful band of gifted musicians fulfilling the bands every musical and sexual need. In 2006 Ehlers/Thejsen will release their debutalbum and hopefully tour the shit out of this galaxy.
