i walked a long way to get here. the door was locked and the rain was forever. i have seen bright and driving lights. i once was the object of war. i can tell no secrets too short and splice no film that wont speak. you once told me of a city so great that it was bigger than life. Everything you would want you could find in a store with a sign. whatever you need there it is for a price. scream sirens, scream. your howls are heard. your mark is made. "Gunshots are kisses," the man with the badge mumbles and smiles. he loves his job but does not know it. he flys like crows over the tallest buildings you can think of. your phone rings. it is not the person you think it is. it never is. you once waited till the last ring to pick up and it was someone you had not talked to for years. so long ago, like a dream you once knew. it is so great to hear this humans voice. they tell you that they know it has been long but it is ok. the moon has swallowed the sky by this time and you cant help but know it. it changes everything. they tell you how stars can only burn for so long before they fall. it is tragic but is true. i have so many keys to doors i will never open. i just wont. there are about 14 keys to lock made of metal, keeping something safe and hidden away like love. this is electric of the best kind. the pictures are always snapping here. and here, and here. zoom in! hold it, hold it... perfect. that was the money shot america. and you will see it, yes you will. just tune in. everyone come sit in the glow. it is soothing and real. i am not a monster, i am your friend.
