About Me

I have had many people over the years ask me how I got the nickname "The Damn Yankee." Well boys and girls... sit back and get relaxed cause your gonna hear how it all came to be. About 9 years ago I was just like you and called into the station and gave Bucky crap about his Cleveland Indians. It got to the point where Bucky started refering to me on the air as The Damn Yankee. So there ya have it. The story is just that short. I got the nickname from an Indians fan who was always mad because his tribe would loose every time they played the Yankees. I've worked for Bucky going on 9 years and yes we still make fun of each others team. He constantly reminding me what team it was that knocked the Yankees out of the playoffs last year. DAMN, I think putting up with him and all his crap that long should get me a raise.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Well, since I've already met some of the biggest names in sports, along with some of the hottest names in country music, I can tell this is gonna be a tough question. Actually most questions are tough for me to answer. The first name would be.. any guesses? Sara Evans. I've met her a few times and she is so sweet and, well so HOT. I could never be around her to much. She is so fun to be around and she loves my kind of movies. And let me clear this up while I have the chance... I have been known to call Sara my "future wife" and "Sara Allen" when I am on the air. Let it be known that I have been saying this for 4-5 years now, and not just saying it since she is divorced. If she would only lift the restraining order against me, then it would all be good and she would realize I'm not a bad person, lol. She will always be my future wife. Since were on the topic of artist, I would have liked to have met Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Frank Sinatra and the original members of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Meeting sports stars wouldn't be all that odd since I have met some of the greatest ever including Ali, the greatest hitter of all time in Ted Williams, the Iron Man Cal Ripken Jr. and the greatest Yankee ever.. Yogi Berra, along with many of his teammates from the early years. Being a Yankees fan, I would love to sit back and listen to a roundtable discussion with Babe Ruth, Joe Dimaggio, Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, Thruman Munson and the voice of Yankee Stadium for over 50 years.. Bob Sheppard. If there was only a way.
