Becca Lloyd

Composer Rebecca Lloyd has attracted worldwide attention for her original music for films, television and the concert hall. Currently based in Los Angeles, Lloyd has composed music for numerous projects and her feature film scores are already attracting attention in her profession. Originally from Australia, Rebecca Lloyd was brought to New York in 2006 by studio World Wide Audio Inc. as their resident composer. In 2008, Rebecca moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career in film scoring where she works with Emmy Award Winning Sound/Score Mixer, Paul Christie.In this role Lloyd has composed original scores for two Warner Bros. feature films, “Twisted Fortune” & “And Then Came Love.” Her music has been used on the Oprah Show and in “Shooting Johnson Roebling,” which was nominated for Best Feature Film at the International Hoboken Film Festival.Lloyd composed orchestral score for feature film “Rock the Paint” which was released internationally in April 2008. She recently completed the score for Dream Factory feature film “Hey Diddle Diddle”Rebecca staged a major coup by securing a commission from China's largest TV network. Lloyd composed, conducted and arranged music for the "History of the World,” which was screened to an audience of more than one billion people.Lloyd’s success is attributed to her intuitive orchestration, whether it is writing a powerful theme or lightly coloring a scene to let the story take the forefront and follow the movements of characters and dialogue very subtly with the score.Inspired by dance and movement, Lloyd composes music with rhythm and drive. Her pieces range from pure classical compositions to modern contemporary music and collaborations with rock and dance producers, including Tribe with New World Records and Touché with MGM.Lloyd has recorded over 100 original compositions played by musicians of a variety of genres, with two solo and four collaborative album releases. As a producer, Rebecca has released eight albums.
