www.streetkingradio.com Big Beast the hard headed hustler----Started rapping at the age of 13, Joined Quick the Ripper and Abyss(then known as Mr. Twista) to form the group Funkaholics,had to go to summer school before atteneding 9thgrade, worked with the earliest form of Black Juice Records was one of the original 5 artist to be on that label, was sent to live in MD with my dad because of poor performance in school due to my love of hip hop music, and me generally not caring for th bland daily school environment (the pool at my boys uncle's crib was a much cooler place to be at 12pm daily), went to Maryland tore apart every MC i battled met a lot of awesome lyricist while there (big shouts to Golden Fleece and Unseen a.k.a Katie Ka- Boom!)had a couple girl friends one of which stuck and we are still cool till this day,graduated on time much to the surprise of my family (don't know why they doubted your dude in the first place!), was called by Quick the Ripper and told to come back home to the vi and re-join the funkaholics at the time going by the name Nightmares Of the Realm (so early 90's Hip-Hop right)i did so leaving behind family-love-and school- for what was supposed to be a sure shot at getting in the game, worked with new artist management agency went did quite a few recordings and the best thing that came out of it was a few awesome performances as an mc, a trip to the Poconos (which i had to pay for lol) and the Virgin Islands first real Mix show in 2001 the Storm Front Radio Show (the show that changed the format of Virgin Islands Urban Radio forever! So for all of you that love the dancehall you hear daily on 105 JAMZ that musical movement was started by yours truly Selector Big BEAST....OH AND YOUR WELCOME, i did the jamz morning show for a while produced the regions most listened to music based program at the time the original Reggae Friday (you know the one that started at 6 am with the playing of the song Friday (Big Shouts to people like Ashyla, Stone Face, Zeb, and all those who were regular callers listeners ans supporters of what could be easily argued to be the best Dancehall/Reggae show next to reggae runnings with Ras Reg........we know Reg Is De Man!, broke away from my old team in 2004 started my own company have not made a lot of money but hell i am only 26 and still kinda hardheaded, at had a son got some new perspective recently and the new motto is simple......cash first and all prices gone up!Get Your Own! | View Slideshow..
