About Me

Myspace Graphics

List of things that scare me (and should scare you): Clowns; mimes; ventriloquists and their dolls; marionettes; puppets, but not Muppets; baby dolls with glass eyes; Sea Monkeys; and giant squid. Please do not send me pictures of any of the creepy, freaky shit on this list. Although they do not scare me, the jellyfish and most things in the Pacific ocean weird me out. For the most part, I knew what I was dealing with in the Atlantic. This is a whole new ballgame. So, I'm not above wearing Aqua Socks for some level of protection. When I'm not getting freaked out by these things, I get paid to do what I love: write. A former journalist, I now thrive/survive (depending on the day) in Dilbert land. If you need an acronym or a reason to hold a meeting, I'm sure I have one handy.

My Interests

Writing always tops the list; photography; anything at the beach; dancing - especially in the kitchen when Scott is trying to make dinner; dragging my ass to the gym; doing whatever my cats demand; Frisbee golf - despite serious lack of skill. Go Sox and Pats! Boston fan forever ...

Music:

I will dance to just about anything and have the scars to prove it. Brian Wilson; Young Love; Dick Dale; Pearl Jam; Neil Young; Beastie Boys; Scissor Sisters; Barenaked Ladies; Fuel; Train; Johnny Cash; Death Cab for Cutie; Beck; Jethro Tull; Goo Goo Dolls; Red Hot Chili Peppers ... the list goes on and on. And I admit my mp3 is also full of a bunch of pop crap. I'm OK with that.

Movies:

Citizen Kane; Ferris Bueller's Day Off; Office Space; The Breakfast Club; Weekend at Bernie's.I don't really watch a lot of movies - two-plus hours is a big commitment.

Television:

History channel, Disovery, MTV and VH1 suck me in every time. And no one will ever stop me from my GH fix.

Books:

Way too many to list. Thoreau, of course. For fun, Anita Shreve. Now reading: "The Great Deluge" and "Mayflower".

Heroes:

Matante 1907-2002 Love you always

My Blog

scott cracks me up

We had to put my "office" in the kitchen because Scott's the chef and I'm usually working or writing. We knew this was really the only way to ever get us in the kitchen at the same time - or to g...
