MAGIC MUSIC MANIA® is a member firm of the Peter Basil Management Group, a professional management consulting and career development firm that provides a full range of management, marketing, and promotional services for Artists and Musicians who desire to become professional entertainers. Our primary focus is with start up and mid level bands and solo artists.
Artistic talent and creativity often clash with the idea of commercialization. However, effective management and promotion are necessary aspects of a successful professional career. Artists and Musicians who are fortunate to have someone help them with business matters or take care of all their business needs for them are free to concentrate fully on creating and perfecting their music and their performance. There are many other Artists and Musicians who struggle with these matters to achieve any level of success. If this is you, you should read on.
If you are reading this, you probably are a Musician or in a Band, and you love playing music and performing for fans. You probably also want to be a successful Artist, maybe get signed to a major label, become famous, and achieve financial wealth. Regardless of your goals, among the most important elements of achieving any level of success is effective management of your career in addition to your creativity and musical talents. That means knowing how to do the right things, and how to avoid doing the wrong things. Artist development, effective marketing, and targeted promotion are among the most important things for your career.
At MAGIC MUSIC MANIA® we provide guidance and management for those Artists and Musicians starting out and taking their first steps toward success, as well as those Artists and Musicians that may benefit from additional business planning and consultation to achieve greater success.
Various other services, including record production, show bookings, et al, are available, directly and with our affiliates, to further develop your performance skills and promote your talent.
We strongly advocate a "DIY" (Do It Yourself) philosophy for all Artists and Musicians starting out in the entertainment business. It is the best way to learn and it gives you great feedback as well as a strong feeling of accomplishment. This is just as important as your musical development. As a MAGIC MUSIC MANIA® client you can benefit from valuable DIY advice and support to help you "do it yourself" with many business matters that will allow you to keep more of your money in your own pocket. New Artists and Musicians starting out should be free of the distractions of harmful mistakes and ineffective activities so you can concentrate on creating and perfecting your music and developing your career.
MAGIC MUSIC MANIA® provides the management services to help you learn these important first steps through advice and guidance so you can do it yourself more effectively. In support of that, it is important that we get to know each other on a personal level. We want to understand your goals so we can best determine together what is needed for you to be successful. We do not charge you fees as start up Artists and Musicians for consultation and advice. Our objective is to help you reach a level of success that will provide you with opportunities without obligation including those in which we can promote you in shows and other events. Commercial and material services are provided on a shared income percentage with no charge back fees to Artists or Musicians.
Those Artists and Musicians that we work with on an ad hoc basis or full time as our clients will have first choice for various opportunities from time to time, including performances in showcase productions and promotional events, where you can further develop your skill as a live entertainer. You will gain experience, increase your fan base, have additional outlets to sell records and merchandise, and get noticed, all with the opportunity to make money. It is your artistry, your creativity, and your commitment to be the best that will be rewarded.

Stay Tuned For Announcements About Upcoming Shows, Tours, And Other Amazing Events. MAGIC MUSIC MANIA® presents the"STAR MANIA" Concert Series performances at the EPICENTRE in San Diego, CA.
This program provides opportunities for Musicians to work together as well as experience the varied talents and performance skills of fellow Artists while providing the format to perfect their presentation and learn new ways to expand their careers. Artists and Bands of all levels and genres can get together from all over the SoCal region in the "Mix It Up" series. The program also provides opportunities for Artists to develop new friendships and expand their network which is a great benefit when touring regionally or nationally.
As the program evolves and the cadre of Artists and Bands increases, it will provide the Musicians of all levels to develop a stronger network within the local and regional community. It will open up more opportunities for Bands to play in more venues and different environments. They will have even more opportunities through their expanded network to improve the skills and expand their performance. Please join us in supporting these Artists and Bands who are dedicated and willing to give it all they've got for their music and for their fans.
The series will include a variety of All Ages shows as well as 18+ and 21+ events. All shows at the EPICENTRE are "All Ages" events in order to provide opportunities for younger and start up Bands to play, as well as share the stage with other more accomplished Artists and Musicians so that they can learn and develop their performance skills and music abilities.

Even more amazing ... he has only been singing and playing for little more than two years ... and performing in front of live audiences for just over a year, yet his level of accomplishment is exceptional. "Goodbye Elliott" ... a great Band from Hawaii ... yea ... now living in LA (ahh yes ... the lure of glitter and bright lights). Driven by their unwavering belief and total commitment, these guys are serious Artists ... they create great music out of their experiences and their dreams ... and they play it well. They don't want to sound like everybody else ... or follow a trend ... and they don't. They are themselves ... and they are really good ... yeah, really good ... check them out ... these guys are doing it.



"Kill The Fashion" ... the Band has a new line up of skilled talent and has created an all new repertoire of great music ... don't miss it. "My Former Self"... an awesome Band from northern California that has really caught our attention. We’ve enjoyed working with MFS and we're looking forward to more grand things from these guys. They have a great sound ... truly beautiful music created from Artists' dreams and performed exceptionally well ... they tour often and bring their sounds to everyone throughout the country... stay close ... and see these guys ... listen to their music on PureVolume and pick up their CD on SmartPunk.



"Chapter14" ... if you like Rock / Alternative / Post Hardcore ... and everybody should if its good music played well ... this 5 piece band from Southern California does exactly that ... you will love Chapter 14. Their name Chapter 14 was taken out of the book Watership Down ... the meaning of the Chapter is really up to you to decide since it has its own different meaning to each one of us. The Band's influences range from U2 to Deftones and from Blink 182 to Bjork. Previously, Chad Ackerman(vocalist), played guitar and sang in the bands Die Trying and As I Lay Dying. Chad had ideas for a different style and left those Bands (on good terms) to start Chapter 14. We've had the pleasure to hear the Band play live on a number of occasions ... they are an accomplished and charismatic group of guys that have fun on stage and draw the audience in with them. Their music reaches into every facet of their genre' providing a fantastic array of sound from their great lyrics to their awesome and powerful music. Don't miss a chance to see these guys in live performance.



"Blesk" ... they hail from San Luis Obispo and they create a magnetic style of Indie / Rock music. We have loved their sound ever since we first heard their music ... their message is truly one of love ... of people and of life and what is good about us all. Their striving 5-member band, ranging in age from 18 to 22, Aaron, Mike, Danny, Gabe, and Jacob, play like artists many years their elders ... Jacob, the youngest of these talented Artists, has an amazing voice with a broad range, often giving the illusion of several vocalists performing at once, he sings from his heart giving an inspiring and uplifting performance ... Aaron, Mike, Danny, and Gabe play as though their instruments were truly an extension of their inner selves with such smooth and accomplished skills. This Band is different in their music and their lyrics than many of today's young and upcoming Bands ... different in an amazing and captivating style ... drawing their audience in and filling their hearts with their beautiful sounds ... "Blesk" ... their name is one to remember. We believe you will enjoy them for a long time to come.



"Paladores" ... a 5 piece rock band from Riverside County, CA ... blending a huge variety of musical styles to create a sound all their own ... each member brings their own creative elements to this group of accomplished Artists creating a diverse and captivating sound ... along with their new EP, "Nidia Nog and the Other Girlfriend" they are creating quite a buzz ... with all of this they are branching out and reaching more kids with their face melting rock ... and they do ROCK! Look for them to be coming to a town near you soon and when they do, go to their shows and say ‘Hi’, because they love you ... and you will love them too along with their music.



"Farewell Darla" ... here is a young 4 member Band with big heart ... these guys are relatively new Artists with big plans and a big commitment to make them happen. We will be watching these guys and helping them along the way to achieve their goals. Come on out to their shows and see them as they give you a great performance with music to remember ... they are on their way to greatness.



"Panima" ... this is a Band that doesn't say much about themselves ... they don't brag ... they don't make false promises ... they don't try to be like every hot Band around. What they do is create great music with a great sound that is all their own ... fresh ... dynamic ... accomplished ... and they let their music and their performance tell fans everywhere who they are. Listen to their music ... see them perform live ... then you'll know why ... and you will know why they are so successful. These guys are destined for greatness ... they are an amazing Band ... go see them.



"A Mind Awake" ... these young guys are more interested in creating and playing their music than being concerned about what genre' their music fits ... and with all the "new" genre's these days its not surprising that many listeners get confused ... so much blends together it's difficult at times to know. So these Artists focus on the quality of their music and enjoy playing it. See these guys live and enjoy it as well. </A



"Tragedy And Triumph" ... these guys have a lot of heart and they are working hard to develop themselves and get established. We think that’s very important in order to be successful in the music business. That’s why we support young Artists such as these guys who do their best and give it all they've got. They listen and learn, and they are doing all the right stuff. We’re really high on TNT and we are promoting these 5 Artists along with inviting them to play in shows as well. Their on stage performance presents the full range of their talents and development as aspiring Musicians. "Vancouver In Reply" ... (This Band is going through some changes. Check out their web page for the latest updates) ... a young Band creating and playing music in a genre’ mix of Indie / Soul / Lounge sounds. We are just getting to know these guys and we want to know them well ... they are dedicated and creative ... and they have a bright future ahead of them. We will be watching them ... and you should do the same ... you will enjoy their sounds.



"NOIZ" ... what a great name! ... And a beautiful noiz it is ... a group of 5 guys ... some still in high school ... who have it all together. These guys create a great mix of Roots / Rock / Reggae that they jam out in youthful high energy style. In their own words they are heavily influenced by the eerie vibes of Bob Marley and Steel Pulse among others. They bring this genre’ to a whole new level with true reggae and rock sensations ... adding surfer vibes from these guys brings inspiration and personality to the table to create an awesome mix of sound and performance. True Artists in every sense, they are fine Musicians as well as loyal to other up and coming Bands ... and they are a big supporter of local music. NOIZ is intense in every respect in their Artistry and their Music. Don't miss an opportunity to hear their amazing creations and see them perform.



"Scarlet Rose" ... the true essence of young Rock Stars, these guys are poised for greatness, exploding with a mix of Glam Rock and a raw performance of the 80’s era of great R&R bands, Roxy, CJ, Lizzy, and Sean are driven by their near superhuman energy that will rocket you through a galactic experience in stellar style! Once again here is a really great band of two biological brothers and their brother from another mother (and dad) who are rocking the world of Rock / Punk / Alternative music with non-stop energy straight from the heart. We are proud to know twin brothers Johnny, Justin, and their ‘brother’ Alex, and provide our support for greater expansion of fans everywhere. "Blacktop Memories" ... These kids are like family. After the original FAAD Band broke up two of the guys formed a new Band with two of their buddies and came up with "Blacktop Memories". These guys have a great new sound! They are a collaboration of the two bands "Forever And A Day" and "Jonnie Lunchbox". The new Band is a Rock / Indie / Pop Punk Band with well anticipated lyrics and great music. They are from Monrovia, CA ... just a few minutes from Pasadena. These guys are our friends. We support “Blacktop Memories” and invite you to check them out ... its well worth your time. You’re sure to love their sound.



"The Dares" ... a Band of three young and gifted guys, two biological twin brothers and their brother from another mother (and dad), who really have it, creating a uniqueness and charismatic style that captivates your mind, your heart, and your soul with their pop rock and on stage performance.
