Yung Cutta is one of the most versatile producers emerging out of the south, mainly because of his travelling background. This Texas tycoon is already being recognized for his musical ventures through local organizations, hailing him as the 'next' best thing since the famed producers from the 90s in which he was inspired from; Timbaland, Dr. Dre, Diddy, The Neptunes, Dark Child and Teddy Riley.
A bashful appearing Cutta claims, "I don't like to be compared... Since I AM ME... but if I had to say who I closely follow by, it would be my industry three industry favorites: Timbaland, Dre and Scott Storch. I think my club side may be a little influenced by Jon or Kanye." When asked about his life on the road he says, " I have been moving around all my life.. I've been all around the United States, hell even other countries... The military life. But I think growing up with different cultures enabled me to broaden my mind to all forms of music."
Working around other Texas music acts such as Philliez Beats, Carnival Beats, Staci Russell influenced a younger Yung Cutta how to shape his talent into a commercial art, ready for radio talent. Staying involved in the complete proccess of a project was critical in shaping his creativety.Building relationships with several artists and getting to know what they want and expect as an artist gave him the versatility to produce according to the artist's personality and style.
His works can be heard from artists across the entire USA. The word of Yung Cutta is spreading Throughout the south with Young J, Staci Russell, Al G, Phorrkast. He also has production history in Ohio, Oklahoma, New York, Florida and California. Musical works also made appearances in 2006 on Austin's local radio station outlets "Hot 93.3 FM" and "KAZI 88.7"
What does the name Yung Cutta mean? "A person that is cuttin is a person who is grindin, doing what they gotta do to make money, and not just on the block. And I think with my music im cuttin with it because over the years I've grown and put my blood sweat & tears into it."
This producer is absolutely one Dynamic Producer, And will be one to remember throughout this recent Texas movement.
