I am here for Friends

About Me

I work ten months out of the year. That's right... I am a high school teacher. And yes, I chose this profession because I have two months off. That's two months where all I do is worship the beach and recharge my batteries.I am married to Bob for nineteen years, and I have two beautiful children.I'm opinionated, articulate, persistent, and headstrong. When I want something, I make it happen. That's me. Take it or leave it.My Favorites: Martha's Vineyard, Broadway, mussels in a white wine sauce, people-watching on the balcony of Metrazur, blackberry Mojitos, my beach club, Holly Yashi jewelry, Brighton handbags, Robert Moses Beach, the Nautical Mile, E-Bay, and Arthur Avenue. My New York age is 24

This New York age puts you-generally speaking-into the young category. That's what you were hoping for, right? Run and tell your friends. Then get drunk (as usual). Then sleep it off. Then pop an Adderall. Then come back and consider experimenting with a more mature type of New York life (just once in a while). Have you ever been to the Village Vanguard or the Living Theatre? Eaten at Elaine's ? Taken a date to Michael Feinstein ? Before you laugh, check 'em out and see what old-school NYC experiences you can add to the new.

Does your age reflect how you're living? Let us know.

What's your New York age? Take the Time Out New York quiz and find out!

WE NEED TO STOP THE WAR! WE NEED TO GET THE REPUBLICANS OUT OF OFFICE AND START CONCENTRATING ON DOMESTIC ISSUES! WE DON'T HAVE TO POLICE THE WORLD!PRAYER FOR PEACE (St. Francis of Assisi):Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace; Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy.O Divine Master, Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; To be understood, as to understand; To be loved, as to love; For it is in giving that we receive, It is in pardoning that we are pardoned, And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
