I wish you were either one or the other!16 So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth.God woke me up and made it perfectly clear that I was Lukewarm. He came to me via the Holy Spirit, an Apostle, a Dream and several signs that were all UNDENIABLE, even by a skeptic like me!I will admit, I was the Lukewarm person that Jesus spoke about in those 2 scriptures. I believed that there is a God but it stopped there. I know I am a GOOD person and figured that was all I needed to be.WHY?Because of RELIGION :O(You see, I grew up in Religion for almost 17 years as a Jehovah's Witness. (I will be writing a blog about Jehovah's Witnesses soon)You see, Religion is about what a person or group of people believe the Bible means and they create beliefs and it becomes their doctrines. It is their interpretation of what they read. Then they turn their beliefs into a business and a place of RULES. You can't do this, you can't do that, you should dress this way, you shouldn't eat that type of food, you shouldn't celebrate Christmas, you shouldn't associate with people who are not of the same RELIGION "NOT FAITH"Religion confused me and drove me further away from the TRUTH. They teach you to seek the TRUTH by asking them (Brothers, Pastors, Preachers, Ministers, etc..) all the questions, so they can give you answers that fall in line with their RELIGIOUS beliefs. It truly is BRAIN WASHING.So how did I finally find the TRUTH? I got fed up one day with how my life was and had been and I finally gave up.I challenged GOD to come save me, because I knew there had to be something more to LIFE. There had to be a PURPOSE for me. I asked him to show himself to me and give me the TRUTH!Matthew 6 (NIV)7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.8 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.I asked him to bring me a partner and I gave him a detailed description.Lets just say, that from that point back in August 2006, many miraculous things have happened that I could not wrap my mind around until God came to me through an Apostle who gave me 3 Prophetic Words from God.More to come later :o)
