About Me

Virginia native Sandy Spady is a multi-talented singer/songwriter whose unique delivery and creative, engaging songs are sure to grab the public’s attention making them instant fans.
Like many R&B artist, Sandy started singing at an early age in the church where her father was the pastor. Those days in Virginia provided a foundation for her developing talents. Emerging as a versatile artist, she was soon choreographing shows and dances for the school flag team and the cheering squad, singing in the ladies chorus ensemble, and serving as master of ceremonies for special assemblies.
Sandy went on to become a lead vocalist for Black Voices, a one hundred plus member gospel ensemble and formed her owned R&B and jazz a cappella group called First Class. As the “step master” for the AKA step team, she had the chance to once again display her versatility, choreographing several 90-minute shows consisting of synchronized steps, skits, singing, and dancing. “I was never satisfied with the status quo and always looked for an opportunity to create something new”, Sandy says. “It’s the same energy I bring to my work today.”
She’s worked with many notable producers including David Anthony, (Britney Spears, Janet Jackson) and Vada Nobles (Faith Evans, Lauren Hill); and has written songs for Indian pop/R&B artist Rushma, and Sumeet, a Canadian born Indian R&B artist whose songs are currently in heavy rotation at the largest urban radio stations in Canada.
Currently Strictly Rhythm records released an EPK, May 18 with two songs "Killing Me" and Forgive Me" featuring Sandy's vocals and lyrics.
Her silky, smooth, sensual voice, thoughtful lyrics, playful, narrative songwriting style and infectious melodies make her one to watch.
