I cannot contemplate the idea of people dedicating an entire column where television is the topic. I don't watch television and I encourage others not to. If you are going to watch a box, watch a movie on the box. It's more entertaining; people put more effort into making it appealing to watch, not just some mass produced half hour clip of somebody's life that is created in less than a week with crappy jokes and canned laughter. and you don't know why its there but its there and those are dead people laughing did you know that? they're dead!
I appreciate all books, like movies. They really could go in the same category, which brings me back to the tv thing. Why do they have one titled tv, and one titled general? Everything else in the world that you are interested in besides tv and music and movies and books. Hopefully, that is a lot for most people. This info deal seems to me to be encouraging laziness. We shall soon all be sloths.
