sports, movies, music, psp, and of course backgammon!(people actually still play backgammon still? lol....yea theres eleven of us scattered around the globe..lol)
All kinds of folks, but mostly I love someone who i can talk to. I mean TALK to.....people are fascinating creatures if one has the patience. Sense of humor is a major plus, as is passion, as in passion for your interests....and the desire to get others to share that passion. Oh yea, the ability to speak in full sentences helps. Since I am very easy going, I tend to attract an interesting variety of friends, so just be you, the REAL you, the you that most dont know...dare ya.

wide variety, except rap. I was on a big country phase, and love what theyre doing in music these days. Country music truly has become the pop music of this decade, but lately ive been trying to find fun catchy hip hop stuff and star 98.7 stuff...love that collective soul, elton john of courseo...we need more true songwriters with unique great voices that arent scared to not sound like they were grunge long ago.I sure do miss rock n roll. What I wouldnt give for a basic rock band to arrive and make it big. Arena rock is truly a thing of the past unfortunately...so till then i will just have to get as many tickets to eagles concerts lol
The Notebook, and Serendipity are two of my all time favorite movies, as is Somewhere in Time. im a sucker for romantic comedies, and of course i still love my sci fi movies and action adventure.
Watching anything on tv requires an emotional and time investment, both which are at a premium. So these days i limit my tv to 3 or 4 must see shows.Boston legal, journeyman, i also love Weeds, Real time with Bill Maher, 4400 and many others i cant remember at this time.
Contact by Carl Sagan moved me for the longest time. I loved this book called Golfing With God, and another great book is called Christ and the Twelves Steps. I keep picking up and trying to read Crime and Punishment to feel more intellectual, but in all reality I cant seem to get into it at this time. Ive become a sissy reader...meaning James Patterson and Michael Crighton novels, stuff like that...I sure do miss college lol I also LOVED the left behind series and i also love anything to do with time travel.
Other than the obvious (Jesus Christ, God, my old pastor)for the longest time I honestly didnt have an answer for this. But recently I find myself admiring my father for raising us on his own, putting us through private school, making all my practices, spending time with me, teaching me politics, religion, and to always keep an open mind, amongst other things, all while working for the DWP.Then there is Thorogood Marshall, Supreme Court Justice in the Fifties one of the greatest minds of the 20th Century, and never let race be an identifying mark with him, although he was legal counsel to the NAACP, and argued in the landmark case Brown v Board of Education. To this day many do not even remember or realize he was african american. Most notable though was that none of his 98 majority decisions were ever reversed by the Supreme Court, that and his continuing defense of the "voiceless americans" till his death in 1993.
