This CD is unique in sound and sensibility. There is a strong classical texture, with shades of influences that include Randy Newman, Tony Bennett, Stephen Foster, Francis Poulenc, Kurt Weill, Edith Piaf, Astor Piazzola, Frederic Chopin and Tom Waits.
