About Me

My name's Patrick Shane Campbell, but my friends call me Patrick Shane(my "not friends" prolly call me nasty names that I won't list here).

I'm originally from Oakland, California. I pretty much thrive on activity! I'm rarely just relaxin or doin nothin.
I love sports. I played basketball in high school. I'm 5 foot 11, but I can dunk. yup, you read that correctly. And yes, I have dunked on someone in a game once. So make sure you watch those gaps in your zone, cuz I'll be driving through 'em.
God has def given me the chance to do some really cool things! I've been white water rafting in Colorado, and I've been rock climbing at the famous Shawangunks or "Gunks" of New Paltz, and I've climbed the Otter Cliffs and Mt Champlain of Acadia National Park, I've ski'd at Squaw Valley in Lake Tahoe. I just recently went sky diving and I can't wait to go again. I really wanna get scuba certified so I can go scuba diving whenever I want.
AND I LOVE BOXING. Started doing it a year and a half ago and I have fallen in love with it. I am also trying to mix it up and learn some kicks too, cuz I'm a huge fan of MMA.
I love music and I play lead guitar for two really cool bands! The first is a cool band I have with my brother called One Step Closer. Check us out every sunday night, 6:00 pm @New Life Ministries at the Xtreme service. pretty cool basically. The other is Sight Unseen, which is also totally cool! Check out both our myspaces!
Also, God has blessed me an amazing family. My Dad is my hero, and that will never change. I have an awesome mom and a cool bro who is engaged! how exciting is that???? And I have friends that I have the greatest times with!
Most of all I believe in Jesus Christ and if He hadn't saved me, I would be a selfish lowlife full of anger and wandering without purpose. But now my life belongs to the One who went to hell and back to get me ----Stay Strong--- ------------------------------------------------------------ -------..

Television:

I like the show "Lost." It's soooooo good. And so is "24" Otherwise, i don't really ever watch TV. oh, and prison break is cool too.

Thr3e, Obsessed, Showdown, House----and anything else Ted Dekker writes. THE OATH(omg!!! best book ever!), This Present Darkness---and anything else by Frank Piretti! Redwall books, Narnia series, How to be a Christian and not be an idiot--Brad Stine.

Heroes:

My Dad and my Grandpa Jim McClean(RIP '05, love you grampa) are my biggest heroes. They are the greatest examples of what a real man should be. Face it, you will never stand as tall as they stand in my life. So stop trying to be buddy buddy and be my mentor. Yer embarrassing yerself. And my Mom is an amazing person. Oh, and I think that Pirates are pretty cool. looting and finding buried treasure, now who wouldn't want a piece of that?
