About Me

What got me wasn't the flawless face that can't help but be recognized...nah girl.. it's that modesty that is actually real. Now that makes a woman. -me All my life I had been looking for something, and everywhere I turned someone tried to tell me what it was. I accepted their answers too, though they were often in contradiction and even self-contradictory. I was naive. I was looking for myself and asking everyone except myself questions which I, and only I, could answer. It took me a long time and much painful boomeranging of my expectations to achieve a realization everyone else appears to have been born with: that I am nobody but myself. Love is one of those phenomenon's in life that makes all the sense in the world in the same instant that it confuses the life out of your world. It's up then down backwards then forward left then right day then night. It's everything you want it to be and all the things you wish never happened. It makes you feel like a flower then hard as a rock then soft as a baby's bottom then tough as steel. You want to jump then scream then laugh then beam. You want to rejoice then retreat, rewind then recline. It sends you signals of shock and magic then makes you cringe and shutter. It's the dichotomy that comes with the territory of letting your heart spill over into someone else's. It's going to feel so good only to feel so not when times are rough. It's going to make you so high if you mesh and so low if you clash.Yes, it's the dichotomy that love brings. This love is not the love you have for your dog and your mom and your best friend. It's the kind of love that confuses the mess out of all your senses and gets deep in your nerves. It's the kind of love that makes nothing even matter, the kind that makes your stomach tingle at just the sight of their name. The kind that got so deep in you it makes you wonder how you lived life without this person for so long. I'm talking about the kind of love that makes your world orbit. The kind that has the ability to send a retrograde in effect. The kind where you let yourself go so deep you feel like you got lost in your own emotions and the only way back is on the gills of their soul. So, is that love or an unhealthy manifestation of something? The key to this kind of love is to resist it's power in consuming every blink you make. To take it with your feet on the ground, to let the magic ride with you instead of overtake your existence. This kind of love becomes powerful in a positive way when it's channeled in the right one.Love is power. Love is strength. Love is balance. Love is peace. It shouldn't take yours.LIKEShammocks rooftops elephants stars chocolate sunflowers Italy Raha and our (holy cows) animals sunsets passion taking a nap at a good park gum happy hour lauging till I ALMOST pee my pants! My Interests

There's music, there's movement, there's knowledge, there's progress, there's love, there's tradition, there's strength, there's beauty, there's nature, there's power, there's wealth, there's health, there's humanity, there's history, there's unity, there's peace, there's LIFE.Sometimes, wouldn't it be great to hear about these elements too? Because the "Africa" that I know is much more than death.~Unknown
