Ariel - Sylvia Plath, all Alice Hoffman books, all Terry Pratchett, the most amazing graphic novels by Art Spiegelman 'Maus' and 'In The Shadow Of No Towers', poetry by Christina Rossetti especially Goblin Market. John Irving - 'The World According to Garp' 'A Widow for One Year', love Gregory Maguire's 'Wicked' and my favourite books of all time have to be Jane Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice' and DH Lawrence's 'Lady Chatterly's Lover' the insight that man had into women's minds is amazing (+ it's a classic saucy book).
Emmeline Pankhurst, Sylvia Plath, Ghandi, Dita Von Teese, my folks; what they put up with from me as a teenager should've earned them a medal!
