About Me

I'm constantly reminded of songs by things I see or hear, and when I think of a song I most often sing it. Ergo, it is common to catch me singing a tune.I have four favorite words: juxtaposition, kumquat, arugula, and onomatopoeia.And finally, if I could name a street I would either use one of my four favorite words (for obvious reasons), or I would name it "Left" or "Right." My Interests

Music:

I love all kinds of music, which makes it too hard to make a list of all my favorites. However, I do have my top 5 for favorite love songs. They are (in no particular order): Crazy Love, Van Morrison; Let's Get It On, Marvin Gaye; Don't Know Much, Linda Ronstadt and Aaron Neville; When I'm with You, Sheriff; I'll Be There for You, Bon Jovi.

Movies:

I like the ones that make me think, learn, laugh, cry, and laugh til I cry.

Television:

21 Jumpstreet used to be an all time favorite, and do you remember What's Happening-loved that show! Now I enjoy The Office, 30 Rock, Scrubs, The Soup, Family Guy, Project Runway, Arrested Development (RIP), and I am easily suckered into most MTV/VH1 shows.

Books:

I'm currently reading Anna Karenina (and I probably will be for awhile). Some of my favorite books that come to mind now are: A Thousand Splendid Suns and The Kite Runner and Sacajawea and Redeeming Love and The Narnia series and my favorite, Gone With the Wind and many many more.
