Melody Fallen is an etheric folk/dirge-pop side project of The Mercy Cage, focusing predominantly on female vocalist Catherne AK’s voice & placing more emphasis on acoustic instrumentation. With influences ranging from Leonard Cohen to the Headless Chickens, The Melody Fallen sound emcompasses everything from folk, dance, ethereal pop & haunting ambience.
After a several year hiatus, Melody Fallen returned in 2007 with a contribution to the independent New Zealand music tribute compilation "She’s Lost". expect an E.P of new material by the end of 2008.
