CHRISTINE

If you can't get rid of the skeleton in your closet, you'd best teach it to dance.

About Me

I am not shy, never have been. But, I am somewhat formal in my demeanor most of the time and reserved when it’s necessary. It’s an odd dichotomy… being outgoing and gregarious while still reserved, and some have even said “stuffy”. (I think they're full of crap.) I’m merely respectful. I appreciate honesty, and do NOT tolerate deceit. I am brutally honest with others, and myself. I’m good with my words and I love to use the English language. I’m no genius, but I can hold my own in a conversation. Come to think of it, most geniuses I’ve met actually can’t hold their own in a conversation. It's something about being inordinately book smart, it can make a person socially retarded. I am a bit sarcastic and a little jaded, but I will not stop believing in the basically good nature of man in general. I like to be the center of attention, but am terrified of looking like an idiot. I like to prove myself, but hate it when people come to expect too much.I LOVE music, especially percussion. I own several drums and someday I will learn how to play them. I am in love with the world in general and passionate about life.Laughter is essential.

My Interests

Social/political issues, people, nature, technology, the natural world, the un-natural world, fine wines.Yoga, religion/spirituality. Physics, numbers, music and musical instruments.

Stunt kites, juggling stix, sock puppets, shaving biker's backs, and the art of the English language.

I'd like to meet:

People who make me laugh. People who make me think. People who have an opinion for reasons other than it’s simply what they were raised with. People with a broad world view. People with something interesting to say.
Nifty, groovy, enthralling, exciting, weird, peculiar, loud, boisterous, funny, fabulous, open-minded, open-hearted, and unique individuals in my local area. ___________________________________________
Your Ideal Relationship is Casual Dating
Maybe you're looking for love... But mostly you're looking for fun. You could get serious with the right person. For now, though, you're enjoying playing the field. ___________________________________________
Your Life is Rated R
Your life is definitely adults only. While children accompanied by parents are welcome, they'll probably be scarred for life. ___________________________________________
Your Personality is Very Rare (ESTP)
Your personality type is dominant, driven, poised, and self-aware. Only about 5% of all people have your personality, including 3% of all women and 6% of all men. You are Extroverted, Sensing, Thinking, and Perceiving. ___________________________________________
You Are Fairly Skeptical
You're not the type of person who will fall for anything, but you do keep your mind open to all sorts of possibilities. You figure that anything could be true. After all, the world is a strange place. However, you're going to need some convincing before you can believe in aliens or reincarnation! ___________________________________________
You Have Your Emotions in Check
You are an incredibly stable and happy person.
Ever consider being a therapist? You have figured out how to keep a positive outlook, no matter what. You don't have an easier life than anyone else. You just have figured things out a little more. ___________________________________________
You Are a Realist
You don't see the glass as half empty or half full. You see what's exactly in the glass.
You never try to make a bad situation seem better than it is, but you also never sabotage any good things you have going on. You are brutally honest in your assessments of situations - and this always seems to help you cope. ___________________________________________
Your Vocabulary Score: A-
Congratulations on your multifarious vocabulary!
You must be quite an erudite person. ___________________________________________
Your Vote Score: 3% Republican, 97% Democrat
You fit well with the Democrat party, and you should almost definitely vote Democrat this election.
In fact, you're so strongly Democrat, a political career (or at least some activism )may be in your future. ___________________________________________
Your Dominant Intelligence is Linguistic Intelligence
You are excellent with words and language. You explain yourself well. An elegant speaker, you can converse well with anyone on the fly. You are also good at remembering information and convicing someone of your point of view. A master of creative phrasing and unique words, you enjoy expanding your vocabulary.

You would make a fantastic poet, journalist, writer, teacher, lawyer, politician, or translator. ___________________________________________
You Are Incredibly Logical
Move over Spock - you're the new master of logic. You think rationally, clearly, and quickly. A seasoned problem solver, your mind is like a computer! How Logical Are You?
