old outside , young inside, love to have fun and anything musicLarry Dember has been a professional musician for over three decades and has extensive national touring experience as a tour manager, including duties as Front of House audio engineer with Narcotic Gypsy on Ozzfest with Danzig , and Sepultura. After several years as Director of A & R for an independent label, Mr. Dember created and built Long Island Rock, Long Island Rock West and The Rockwood. In the 12 years Mr. Dember was there, the 15 rehearsal rooms, recording studio and 5000 sq.ft. Performance center hosted many artists such as Blue Oyster Cult, Riot, Kathy Troccoli, Blues Traveler, Foreigner, Bobby Rondinelli, Eric Burden, Joan Jett, Jason Bonham, R Kelly and Busta Rhymes. Mr. Dember next joined Strong Island Events, operated by WLIR, and ran their event company which managed over 500 events at The Vanderbilt and Brookhaven Amphitheater. Personalities performing there included: Marc Anthony, The Strokes, Jim Breuer, Journey, The Monkees, Sara Mcloughlin, Hillary Clinton, George Pataki, Alec Baldwin, Meatloaf, Russell Watson and Sinead O’Connor. For the last three years, Larry has acted as Vice President and General Manager for Vudu Studios, a state of the art recording complex in Long Island, NY. Mr. Dember is a graduate of Five Towns College where he earned a degree in Business Management with a concentration in Music business and also completed their advanced audio recording program. Larry also was the Production Director at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center where during the summer months he was host to top national acts such as Richard Lewis, Burt Bacharach, Art Garfunkel, Patti Labelle, Howie Mandel, Joan Rivers, Parsons Dance, Lyle Lovett, Michael McDonald, New York Opera, Peter Frampton, Kris Kristofferson and Billy Joel as well as numerous children’s theater programs.Larry Dember is an event and production pro who feels as comfortable on stage, off stage or behind the scenes, and lives by the creed “the show must go on!"
