I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

S0 here's the deal...i don't "collect" friends. i honestly spend ZERO time online, i just wanted to have a page to keep in touch with friends who live or are travelling far way. so don't be upset if i don't respond quickly or don't 'seek you out' to add you to my page, (although i'll be happy to add you if i know you) cause don't spend anytime on here any way! k? k.

My Interests

I like to write. I like to sing. I like to plan big fetish parties. I like to DJ sometimes. i like to read good books. I like stilletto heels and PVC. I like to listen to music. I like to dance.

Music:

I pretty much listen to goth rock, batcave, post punk, darkwave, retro 80's, rockabilly, phychobilly, blues, jazz and cabaret. Being a pro vocalist and sometime DJ, I find it almost impossible to limit my music choices to a list. But here are a few fav's...The Cure, Peter Murphy, Depeche Mode, David Bowie, Specimen, Sisters of Mercy, Ramones, Pixies, Thrill Kill Kult, Billy Bragg, The Damned, Nick Cave, Pet Shop Boys, The Smiths, Blondie, Skinny Puppy, Pixies, Bauhaus, Rev. Horton Heat, The Cramps, Cole Porter, Ella, Billie, Sarah, Alex Pangman, Sophie Millman, Leonard Cohen....

Movies:

I have to admit, I am obsessed with vampire movies. GOD I am such a cliche...My favorite movie of all time has got to be Lost Boys. I also have a particular love for Labyrinth, anything directed by John Hughes and just about any movie that features John Cusack or David Bowie. Apparently i like older men. GRRR.

Television:

Boston Legal, The Girls Next Door, and every show on HGTV that has the word "design" in the title.

Books:

I am obsessed with books. I read at least 1 or 2 books a week..I am serious, i have a bookself in every room of my house. I am into speculative fiction (scifi, fantasy and horror)and literature. I am currently reading The Dark Tower 4, by Stephen King (my guilty pleasures author). Some favorites would include Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden, Fall on Your Knees by Anne Marie MacDonald,The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde, Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood and anything by William Faulkner, Edgar Allen Poe, Nancy Kilpatrick or Poppy Z Brite.

Those Vampire Blues

So I finally know what it feels like to be sucked in the neck like a vampire (jenny- take note). And as much as I don't want to admit it, it was rather unpleasant. Although it could have been the fact...
